Falona Joy is Managing Partner of SNP Consultant Corporation. She is a former Vice President of The Alford Group, a consulting firm for not-for-profit organizations and former Executive Director of the National Park Foundation's African American experience Fund; was a delegate to the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland, to address issues of human rights for minority populations within the United States and abroad; and has long-term experience as an independent consultant assisting organizations with fund/board development, proposal/grant writing, marketing, feasibility studies and needs assessments. She is a committee member of the Chicago Chapter of Human Rights Watch and Open Land's Policy Committee, a Lecturer at Spertus Institute's Non-Profit Management Program; and a Board member for Evanston Community Foundation's Root to Fruit program. She earned the Bachelor of Arts (with honors) in Political Science from Stanford University with a concentration in Public Policy and a minor in African and African American Studies.
