Grayson Mitchell is a public affairs consultant. He is a recognized expert in corporate affairs, media relations, and marketing communications. He has served as counsel to Fortune 500 corporations across a diversity of industries and product categories. He previously served as press secretary and senior advisor to Mayor Harold Washington. From 1976 to 1979 Mitchell was a Washington correspondent for the Los Angeles Times and earlier, a staff writer for the Washington Post. He is a former director of Ballet Chicago and a member of the Economic Club of Chicago. Mitchell is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago and pursued post-graduate studies at Stanford University as a NEH Journalism Fellow.
