Michael Harvey is the author of two Chicago crime novels, The Chicago Way and The Fifth Floor. His third, The Third Rail, will be published by Knopf in the spring of 2010. Mr. Harvey is also the co-creator, writer and executive producer of the Prime Time Emmy-nominated television series Cold Case Files and a former investigate producer for CBS in Chicago. His work as a documentary producer and journalist has won numerous national and international awards, including multiple Emmys and an Academy Award nomination for the Holocaust documentary Eyewitness.
