Stern

Carole Stern is recognized for the significant contribution she has made to reading appreciation in Annawan. As Head Librarian for the Annawan-Alba Township Library, Ms. Stern has developed a "Story Hour" program for 3-5 year-olds and the "Summer Reading Program" for K through 5th-graders. In addition, she provides classroom assistance at Annawan Grade School through programs that focus on local culture and history lessons at the local library (which is housed at an historic site in the community).
