Lindvahl

Craig Lindvahl is honored for his unique ability to get students in Effingham involved and interested in learning about music and filmmaking. During nearly 25-year teaching career, Mr. Lindvahl''s lunchtime band class has tripled in size, even though students give up their lunch hour to take the course. Mr. Lindvahl is also an award-winning filmmaker, and he has created a documentary film class at the school where he teaches. Under his direction, students have worked on videos and films about world music, the Peace Corps, and World War II.
