Weglarz

Active in many civic organizations and causes, Cynthia Weglarz is honored with the Studs Terkel Humanities Service Award for her efforts to bring arts and culture to the Palos Park community. As a founding member and past Chairperson of the Palos Park Fine Arts Association, Ms. Weglarz has been instrumental in bringing literary readings, visual arts, music, and dance to her community. In addition, her work with the McCord House Steering Committee will preserve this historic house in the community and make it available to the public.
