is a published author and poet whose book, Line Kansas- Memories of Korea 1950-1958, uses poetry and short stories to share his recollections of his service in the Korean War. His book not only offers personal recollections, but also a military history of the War. In addition to his published work, Mr. Baillie has been very active in the recent reconstruction of Elburn''s Veterans Memorial. Mr. Baillie is one of Elburn''s newer citizens, and according to his community, "already one of our best."
