A lifelong resident of the Village of Elmwood Park, Donna Geneva Roehri has been active in her community's civic and cultural affairs throughout her life. Dating back to her days as a student at Elmwood Park High School in the 1960's, Ms Roehri has long been involved in theater. A member of the now defunct Elmwood Park Little Theater, she always participated in the planning and execution of the theater's performances. Recently the Village established the Elmwood Park Community Theater. Ms. Roehri was one of the first to volunteer as an actor, fundraiser, and a mentor to the many young adults who have become involved. The group has now performed 3 different plays and has been well received.
