Gerard Hasenstab is being honored for his work with the school board of Fairmont City. A tireless volunteer with Catholic Urban Programs since 1977, Mr. Hasenstab has also committed himself to bettering the environment for students and teachers within the Rushville school system. He has made it possible for teachers to receive good salaries and benefits, and kept the school facilities in the best condition possible. He dedicated himself to creating an open dialog with parents to allow for a positive forum for the discussion of issues, concerns, and ideas.
