An artist and sculptor, Joseph A. Burlini has been advocate for the arts for over thirty years. Mr. Burlini is truly dedicated to arts education in Arlington Heights. He has helped numerous educational organizations raise money by donating his art for fundraising. Some of these organizations include the Red Cloud Organization, Hope Center, and Hadley School for the Blind. Mr. Burlini has helped many gifted art students by conducting studio art classes for more than 800 students at Arlington Heights School District 25. He has also participated as a full-day Artist-In-Residence at more than 80 schools, creating sculptures on site and then donating them to the schools. Mr. Burlini also works on programs that guarantee veterans an education. Mr. Burlini is always "on call" for his community and often creates and gives awards for people he feels are worthy of recognition who might not otherwise be recognized.
