Hupe

Margo A. Hupe is honored for her work as the President of the Historical Society of Greater Peotone. As President, Ms. Hupe has been instrumental in educating residents about the history of the H.A. Rathje windmill, which was built in Peotone in the 1870''s. Through her efforts at the Historical Society, the mill was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 and was recognized as a Will County Landmark in 2002.
