Martha Ingram is a volunteer for the Winfield Historical Society. Currently, the Historical Society is completing the restoration of Hedges Station, the oldest remaining train depot in Illinois and the oldest building in Winfield, and will be opening this building as a museum to teach residents of Illinois the history of the Winfield area. For the Historical Society, she and one other individual also coordinate the annual fundraiser for the historical society, a group that preserves the heritage of the Winfield community.
