Paul Cooper's middle name in Chebanse has literally become ?volunteer.? Residents can count on Paul ?Volunteer? Cooper to lend a hand with every event associated with their community's heritage. For example, the Village is in the midst of their sesquicentennial year, and Mr. Cooper does everything from serving on the organizing committee for the celebration to painting and remodeling the area that will house the indoor part of the celebration. Mr. Cooper has also remodeled the Village ?history room,? and acquired space for the Historical Society. He has also equipped the local ?Exploration Station? for local children with toy tractors and travels to local fairs and educates youth about the farming history of Chebanse.
