Robert Johnessee has worked tirelessly to ensure that the Bunker Hill Public Library remains vital in his community. As a member of the Library board for many years, Mr. Johnessee has helped out with every manner of project, including the purchase of new books for the children's section of the library and visiting with the children in the Library, helping to organize the Library's book sales, and preparing the building for new carpeting and a new paint job. In addition to the time he puts in at the Library, Mr. Johnessee has been instrumental in this year's Octoberfest in Bunker Hill. Thanks to him, included in this year's activities is a rededication of the 100-year old Statue of Abraham Lincoln that stands in the middle of town.
