Tim Ward is being honored for his commitment to the youth of Rushville. Mr. Ward has volunteered for over 15 years as an umpire for Little League baseball and also contributes his time to humanities efforts such as founding the Little League & Sports Museum in Rushville which traces the genealogy and history of sports in the community. He has organized Little League tournaments in Rushville which have brought numerous people from around the state to the community. Mr. Ward has also led ""farm tours"" for the youth who visit from Chicago and other large cities around Illinois to educate them about what life is like in a more rural setting.
