Iseminger

William R. Iseminger is honored for his commitment to historic preservation and history in Collinsville. As Chairman and founding member of the Collinsville Historic Preservation Commission, Mr. Iseminger has been instrumental in identifying numerous properties as Collinsville Historic Landmarks, including the historic David Collins House, which he helped restore to its original 1840s condition. In addition, during his career as an anthropologist at the Cahokia Mounds, Mr. Iseminger presented countless programs educating young and old in the Collinsville community about the importance of this pre-historic site.
