A Road Scholar Program by Peter N. Gray, Ph. D.

A Road Scholar Program by Peter N. Gray, Ph.D. This program introduces the concept of genetics and the material used to convey information that determines traits and characteristics, so that audiences gain an awareness of genetic replication, transcription, and translation of genetic information into proteins. Once a basic understanding of key scientific processes is reached,Dr. Gray will then show examples of ""Genetic Art"" to demonstrate accessibility and integration of science and genetics in everyday life.

This event is Free and Open to the public. For more information, please contact Roz Katz, Friedman Place, (773) 989-9800.
