Chicago, IL, 60608-1316This workshop will create a space for adults to dialogue about their own perceptions of health, where those perceptions stem from, and how they manifest in their daily lives.
The seminar may include units on topics such as the Tuskegee Experiment (using Ms. Evers' Boys by David Feldshuh and "Tuskegee Experiment" by Sadiq) and health and environment (using Refuge by Terry Tempest Williams).
Geraldine Gorman of the Illinois Humanities Council will lead this workshop.
