A lecture on the 2004 excavation of a large-scale brewery constructed by Wari (500-1000 A.D.), Peru's first empire.

The speaker will be Dr. Ryan Williams , Assistant Curator of Archaeological Science, Department of Anthropology, Field Museum, and Adjunct Professor of Anthropology, Northwestern University, The University of Illinois-Chicago and the University of Florida.

Discussion and questions will follow the persentation.
