To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier in major league baseball, the Early American Museum and the Champaign Park District are co-sponsoring the screening of this vintage movie from 1950.

Starring Robinson himself, and made just three years after his historic breakthrough, this film movingly conveys the drama of one of the great heroes of baseball. Former Negro League players will be on hand to sign autographs.
