How exactly does a curve ball curve? How does a kernel of popcorn pop open? What’s going on with your body when you stretch?

This program will explain the science behind three common experiences at a baseball game: the physics of the curve ball, the food science of Cracker Jack/popcorn, and the anatomy of the stretch. The curve ball presentation will feature film footage of pitches thrown by Cubs and White Sox pitchers.
