From 10am to 4pm, seminars and workshops on maritime history, shipwrecks, marine ecology, boating safety, lighthouses, the Christmas Tree Ship, tall ships, model boat building, kids' activities and more, presented by the Chicago Maritime Society, Underwater Archaeological Society of Chicago, US Coast Guard Auxiliary, Shedd Aquarium, Michigan Maritime Museum, Friends of the Chicago River, National Weather Service, Great Lakes Lighthouse Keepers Association, International Shipmasters Association, Chicago Police Marine Unit, and others. At 7pm, a maritime music concert featuring performers from around the country and across the sea, including Pint & Dale, Talitha MacKenzie, Tom & Chris Kastle, Serre l'Ecoute, and Lee Murdock.
