"The original exhibit, staged to commemorate the monumental Supreme Court ruling that outlawed segregation, will focus on the legal history of civil rights and the achievements of African American judges and lawyers. This multi-section exhibit will include segments on the legal history of civil rights leading up to, and flowing out of the decision; the inegration of the federal judiciary; Chicago''s civil rights history; and contemporary civil rights issues. Four public programs will accompany this exhibit (see listings for 1/31, 3/13, 4/17, and 5/15)."
