A Forgotten Injustice is Vicente Serrano's opera prima. It is the first film about the massive deportation of U.S citizens and legal residents during the 1930's. They were deported because of one reason: They looked Mexican. Now that the immigration debate is diving our country we have to look back, we need to make sure that we learn from A Forgotten Injustice before commiting the same mistakes of the past. Vicente Serrano is an Emmy-Award winning journalist. He is the News Anchor for Telemundo Chicago and produced and directed A Forgotten Injustice because his Grandmother is a survivor of the massive deportations of the 1930s.
