A Road Scholar Program by Sandra Jackson-Opoku

"Jody" a.k.a. "Joe the Grinder" is an iconic lady's man from African-American folklore, whose amorous exploits are the subject of the military marching songs (also called 'Jodies'). This program charts his legendary journeys and their influence on the creation of the protagonist in Sandra Jackson-Opoku's second novel-Hot Johnny (and the Women who Loved Him.)
