Part of the Folksongs for Seniors Series, a four-part lecture-concert series on American folk music targeted to senior citizens in the area. Bucky Halker has released Welcome to Labor Land, a 2002 CD featuring interpretations of Illinois Labor and working-class protest songs from 1865-1955. Chris Walz is a guitar instructor who previously worked for the Old Town School of Folk Music and has recorded and performed throughout Illinois.
