This program entitled, "History of the Illinois Prairie," will be delivered by Kenneth Robertson, a retired botanist with the Illinois Natural History Survey. This talk will involve looking at how settlers within 50 years of their arrival in Illinois converted the vast majority of the prairie to agricultural use.
