Naperville Writers Group members and members of the public read poetry and prose. The event's featured writer is Ruan Wright. She has print published in America, England and India, as well as in on-line journals. Recent credits include RADIX, ART TIMES, WINDHOVER, The Taj Mahal Review, and Moon Journal.

Ruan Wright's work has received awards and recognition from The Poets and Patrons of Chicago, the ISPS, and the CNW/FFWA. She is a member of the Illinois State Poetry Society, Chair of the Naperville Writers Group, Assistant Fiction Editor for the Fifth Wednesday Journal. She has also served as judge for local youth poetry competitions and coordinates the Bolingbrook Writers Group.
