An exhibition of linocuts and fiber art by printmaker Elka Kazmierczak, former Head of Illustration Program at SUNY Buffalo. This exhibition presents a woman's journey toward the empowerment.

Artist, Elka Kazmierczak, will talk about her prints and a book Art of Survival: Women, Healing, and the Arts at an opening reception for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. She will be signing and selling copies of her book during the event that will feature food, refreshments, and a concert by Jenny Choi.

The exhibition is on view during office hours and during special events from October 2, 2009 - October 22, 2009.
