Dancing with the Starz is the major fundraising event of the Prairie Art Alliance. The event has enabled us to continue our classes and programs, exhibit the work of our juried members in the H.D. Smith Gallery and Gallery II, and provide art outreach in the community. Now in its seventh year, Dancing with the Starz has relocated to the Springfield Hilton on Saturday, October 13. Due to exciting changes in the event and active participation from our dancers, we are anticipating over 500 people in attendance. The evening will begin with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, an exquisite silent auction and wine wall, followed with dance lessons provided by Pat Lyttaker. The Fundamentals will play for our listening and dancing pleasure throughout the evening. At 8:00 pm twelve Starz and their partners will begin the dance contest, each hoping to bring in the most votes at $1.00 per vote. We promise you that this will be a unique evening for all involved!!!
