A series of 5 presentations of their Books Alive! programs that will take place from April 31st to August 2nd of this year. In these productions a selection of 5 to 6 children books are adapted to the stage by 20 to 25 advanced students in MFAA classes ages 5-13. The productions are presented with a brief introduction and each performance children have the opportunity to talk with the performers. The organizers provide teacher guides and free copies of each book adapted to teachers that bring their classrooms to the performances and local libraries organize displays around the books performed.
