A series of after school workshops for 20 youth participants aged 14 to 20 that will examine the role of youth and their impact in recent significant social movements. Participants will study the roles of their peers in movements like the Velvet Revolution, the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and the Civil Rights Movement among others. In addition to reading about these subjects the students will work with facilitators and visiting scholars, and collect source material that will be developed for six public performances.
