The Mendota Museum and Historical Society will host acclaimed Wild Bill Hickok biographer, Joseph Rosa, author of "They Called Him Wild Bill: The Life and Adventures of James Butler Hickok" and "Wild Bill Hickok: The Man and His Myth," for a keynote presentation at the Society's annual Heritage Dinner on October 18, 2008.  The presentation will accompany the unveiling of a life-sized bronze likeness of Wild Bill in front of the Hume-Carnegie Museum in the center of Mendota.
