As part of an area-wide celebration of the bicentennial of Abraham Lincoln's birth, the Monmouth College Theatre Department and the Orpheum Theatre, will present the play, Our American Cousin, written by Tom Taylor. This work is probably best remembered as the play Lincoln saw on the night of his assassination. To enhance an understanding of the play, a series of talks, interspersed with brief presentations on selected items from the Lincoln Collection of the Warren County Public Library, will be presented.
