This program is a service learning program utilizing the Junior Great Books anthologies, developed by the Great Books Foundation, in which older teens lead reading and discussion sessions with younger participants. The program uses high quality, serious literature that supports discussion about important issues such as equality, family, and self expression. Participants will read works by authors such as Kurt Vonnegut, Alice Monroe, and Charles Dickens. The groups will engage in shared inquiry about the literary work.
