The Henry Public Library will present a series of public humanities programs in Fall 2009 that will explore the history and heritage of rural Illinois through poetry, song, and stories. The series will feature, "Illinois Songs of Death and Dying," "Folksongs of Illinois," "Spoon River Anthology: Insights from an Illinois Classic," and "Small-Town Heritage: Life in Illinois Communities."
