The Education Justice Project of the University of Illinois - Urbana/Champaign, will continue its integral programs that bring the humanities inside the walls of the Danville Correctional Center. The EJP offers an array of university-level, humanities-based programs at the prison, including reading-discussion groups, for-credit classes, and an on-site resource center. This grant will allow for the expansion of the reading groups and the pilot of a yearlong humanities speakers series.
