The Humanities Forum of SIUC will present the culminating events for the yearlong program called "Trauma and the Humanities" by featuring Nancy Sherman, author of "The Untold War" and Jonathan Shay, author of "Odysseus in America." These presentations - about how the humanities have been harnessed to better understand the psychological injuries of war - are the capstone events to a series of public discussions, programs, and presentations that are built to increase awareness of and engage the community in conversations about veteran reintegration issues.
