This two-day event, scheduled for June 24 and 25, 2006, will utilize the Chautauqua-style festival to promote lifelong learning through lively debate, discussion, dramatic presentations, musical performances, classes, hands-on learning opportunities, and more for visitors of all ages. This year, Midway will compare and contrast American life at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries, taking into account themes of immigration, imperialism, technology, big business, and natural disasters.Grant Date:
