This project will result in a 32-page booklet that examines the transformative connections between art, creative processes, and life. It will focus on women, their oppression and abuse, and ways in which art can prove to have a positive impact on their lives. The booklet will include four short essays by humanities scholars, as well as a short story and several images created by female artists who survived abuse. 1000 copies of the booklet will be distributed free of charge.
