The Bronzeville Oral History Project from DePaul University will create a photographic and oral history film documentary of cultural life in the Bronzeville section of Chicago. The objective is to help preserve and present the richness of this neighborhood's culture and heritage at a time when many dismiss the area as little more than crime-ridden and economically depressed. The film will be divided into three shorts which will then be shown at neighborhood libraries in the region and throughout Chicago.Grant Date:
