The Southern Illinois Irish Festival will once again offer its annual festival, as it has every year since 1997. This year the theme will be "Celtic Roots, American Traditions." Musicians, scholars, storytellers, and dancers explore the connection between the Scots Irish who settled the region and the folk music and dance traditions that are popular there today.
