The Chicago History Disability Exhibit will provide a detailed history of disabled people in Chicago from the city's initial settlement to today. As a critical locus of disability policy, politics, and innovation, the reconstruction of the history of disability in Chicago is critical to the identification, documentation, and reconstruction of disabled people as the city's largest minority group.
