Natya Dance Theater is requesting funds to support the travel expenses and honoraria of Dr. Kapila Vatsyayan, the keynote speaker for festival Dance India.

Dr. Vatsyayan is the foremost modern scholar on Indian dance forms and as a former Secretary of Culture formulated influential policies related to the arts in India.The dance seminar/festival on classical Indian dance forms Dance India: Choreographing Traditions will be held September 7th to 10th in Chicago, Grayslake and Lake Forest.
