A one-day conference for youth 13-19 from throughout Illinois that will explore the theme of place in literature. Specifically, the project will offer youth the opportunity to study authors like Octavia Butler, Stuart Dybeck and Luis Rodriguez among others to investigate "what place means to them". The first edition of this conference will take place November 19th at the University of Illinois at Chicago
