SAFE House is a non-profit, residential treatment program for men seeking to end their dependence upon drugs or alcohol. With this program, residents are offered another way to overcome this dependence. By reading and discussing literature, residents may discover the 'high' that comes from aesthetic experience; the experience of being transported imaginatively to another time and place, of intuiting a revelation about the human heart, or of perceiving an insight into the human mind.Grant Date:
