The Long-Term Prisoner Policy Project (LT3P) has organized a Book Club at the Stateville Correctional Center, a maximum security prison in Joliet, and is requesting funds to buy books and to invite authors to speak with the participants. The Book Club has 15 participants and meets twice a month. For previous editions the organizers have depended on loans from public libraries. The books bought with the grant would be donated the correctional center's library.Grant Date:
