A website by the Dirksen Congressional Center that will present minutes, press conference transcripts and photographs of the Joint Senate-House Republican Leadership from 1961 to 1969. The website will be created with curricular aids and will complement other educational websites created by the organization to educate on the political processes in the United States. In this website in particular, the organization seeks to explore the political issues Congress faced during the 60's and their relevance today; and the role of the opposition leadership, the president and the national press.Grant Date:
