Location(s)

A reading and interpretation project for 15 students of the East St. Louis Charter School during the fall of 2008. The participants in this project will meet once a week to discuss the poetry of 4 African American writers -Langston Hughes, Gwendolyn Brooks, Margaret Walker and Tyehimba Jess- and they will use the readings to develop visual work that will be shown in three local libraries.
