An oral history of the civil rights movement of the Mexican community in Chicago that will include the testimonies of at least ten members of the community (journalists, aldermen, political activists, and historians, among others). The organizers have recruited scholars with training in history and sociology to conduct interviews and research. The work will result in a publication that will be presented on public events on four different locations throughout Chicago.
